Jasmine has been playing chess since she was 7, and is now playing on the top board in the first all-female Four Nation Chess League team. As of November 2022, she has an ECF rating of 1758.

She began tutoring chess in Oxford in 2018. After volunteering to set up a chess club in a local school, she began working with Chess in Schools and Communities, teaching classes starting at beginner level and running extra-curricular clubs.

At Durham University, she is the treasurer of the DU Chess Society, where she is involved in the organisation of tournaments, matches, and society meetings.

As a chess tutor, Jasmine can teach your child the fundamental ideas in chess, and identify areas for them to improve, whilst also igniting a passion for the royal game.

Music is a great passion of Kelsey’s, having played the violin from the age of 6 before moving onto to the oboe, voice and piano. The oboe took the crown for Kelsey as it became his primary instrument. Playing at a multitude of venues both orchestrally and solo, Kelsey has a wide experience of professional playing to share with other aspiring, young musicians.

Later into Kelsey’s musical journey, he picked up the pipe organ - firstly playing at his local church accompanying a choir, to performing pieces at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Taking part in master classes with the Royal College of Organists, Kelsey has an abundance of knowledge for both the piano and organ. Currently, he focuses his time on widening his piano repertoire.

Kelsey also studied music up to A-Level before focusing on mathematics, so he has a firm understanding of a broard range of syllibi, including ABRSM, Trinity and LCM. Kelsey can also provide expert lessons in music theory to develop your child’s overall musicianship as well as their confidence in performing.
